Ommatophilia is a surreal RPGmaker horror game. It draws inspiration from classics like Mad Father and OFF, as well as newer titles such as 8:11 and re:curse. It is about motherhood, friendship, and the impermanence of stasis.
You play as Angel Cakes. Your friend is leaving soon. Life isn’t great, but you do your best to navigate through it. There's nothing in life more important to you than your friendships, even if it seems like everyone is evolving without you.

Replayed this again, and I'm still really blown away with the writing and the wonderful designs. I love all the little things you can pick up about the characters and their backgrounds. I love love the main party with all my heart! And the way the dialogue is written so charmingly.

Simply amazing game, with pretty good lore and worldbuilding, and pretty exciting and adorable cast of characters. The NPCs as well are very eerie, making also them more look like important than being just fulfilling their role. Music and Art as always is pretty great.
Definitely a neat expansion to Devil's Food/Cake Sister Chronicles. I hope to see more, just don't rush and take a break!

Im so excited to play this but I think I encountered a bug? When i try to interact with a pile of snow near the beginning I get this image (seen below) and it just says "nothing can be done with this." Additionally, a similar thing happens when I try to interact with Rheum, this items menu (?) opens up even though I have nothing.
hi!!! the line nothing can be done with this happens when you don’t have the correct item needed for interacting with something!! and the item menu just opens whether or not you have an item whenever you interact with something that requires a specific item!! thank you!
